Sacred Rest: A Journey into Sound, Touch, & Rest

A Journey Into Sound, Touch & Rest

In the mystical traditions of many cultures, rest is sacred — the silent, spacious incubation from which all true creation flows. Even the Divine Feminine, after creating the Universe, rested.

In yoga, this is the energy of the moon — chandra, cooling and receptive, the counterpart to the sun's fiery, active surya force. Solar practices build heat and drive us outward into effort. Lunar practices draw us inward, restoring what the world's pace depletes.

Restorative Yoga works with gravity and time, giving your nervous system the signal it needs to shift out of activation and into restoration.

Sacred Rest moves with that lunar rhythm — slow, soft, illuminating quietly from within. We hold this class around the full moon, when that energy is at its peak.

This is your invitation to release the grip of constant doing. When we stop chasing and begin trusting, we come back with clearer direction, renewed vitality, and more to offer ourselves and the people we love.

This class gently unfolds around you while you do the one thing most of us rarely make time for: absolutely nothing.

In This Class...

You'll be guided into reclined postures on the floor, supported by yoga props. From there, the class layers four elements of sensory restoration:

🌙 Guided Meditation To help you find distance from the mental chatter and drop into the present experience.

🤍 Restorative Yoga Using bolsters, blankets, and blocks, you'll get all the support you need to rest in comfort without effort.

✦ Hands-On Healing Massage Offered throughout the class by experienced massage therapists to help you settle.

♪ Live Sound Healing Soothing vocal harmonies, sung live, carrying you into deeper meditative rest.
